Red Cobra

Red Cobra Skin is the perfect snakeskin film for all your scaly needs! The film features vibrant, realistic colors that draw the eye, but do not overdo it. This image is especially popular for firearms, skulls, kitchen appliances, home interior decor, and athletic equipment like saddle stirrups.

Red Cobra - hydrographic film. Film is 50cm (19.7in) wide. Base color recommended: Tan.

This image looks fantastic over a tan base, but white also works well. Tan gives it a more natural appearance. Both high gloss and low gloss finishes look fantastic over this image. You can't go wrong!

Generalized dipping instructions and tips are included with every kit. We recommend following those instructions and dipping a couple small sample pieces before committing to your big project. Every little bit of practice helps, and you may discover techniques that work better for you.

This film works great with the recommended process. However, if you are having trouble with color density - especially in the black areas - There are a couple of things to try. First off, make sure you are moving the part forward into the film as you dip. This will reduce stretch and color fading. Second, you can try dipping with colder water and using a longer soak time. Red Cobra is our most popular animal print - and rightfully so! On top of looking great, it is easy to work with. The film does not tear or lose color when activated, and applies very consistently. It is very good at stretching without breaking, allowing you to imprint the image into deep cutouts or hard to reach areas with fewer blowouts.
